3/5/2023 0 Comments Mac webcam settings![]() I hope you can help out because it's frustrating to not be able to use the webcam. ![]() Oh, the reason I've posted this under the topic "Support Feedback" is because after trying to log a support request, the first thing I was asked was for the serial number of my C922 Pro webcam, but I don't have the box from when I purchased it, and its serial number doesn't show up when I look at the details in System Report, and with the Camera Settings app not working either, I have no way to even *start* logging a support request. In case it's useful, I'm using it with an M1 MacBook Air, and Camera Settings app worked fine in macOS 11, so this is pretty clearly an incompatibility issue with macOS 12 and the current version of the Camera Settings app. Please connect a camera and launch the Application again."Īre there plans to release an updated version of the Camera Settings app that's compatible with macOS 12, or is this the end of the support cycle for this product? I can see that macOS registers that the camera is connected via USB when I open up System Report and scroll down to USB devices – it's clearly connected and macOS reports it being connected – but when I start up Camera Settings app (version 3.0.23, which is the latest version available on the Logitech web site), a window pops up saying "No camera was detected. Since upgrading to macOS 12 (currently on developer beta 2), the Camera Settings app has stopped detecting my C922 Pro Webcam.
